At PBE, we believe in creating immersive experiences that foster connection and collaboration for beauty entrepreneurs and consumers. Our carefully curated events are designed to provide an intimate and exclusive platform for women of color (WOC) to showcase and purchase natural beauty and body products.
We recognize the unique challenges that WOC founders face in the beauty industry, and we are dedicated to supporting them. Through our online platform and offline conferences, we provide the tools and resources needed to build a sustainable business. PBE is not just an event, but a community-driven platform that aims to empower and uplift underrepresented beauty entrepreneurs and cosmetic consumers. We facilitate experiential events and share quality content to engage and connect WOC in the beauty industry, fostering collaboration and idea sharing.

Brittany Brown is an innovative entrepreneur who has placed inclusivity at the forefront of her work in the beauty industry.
Upon graduating from Stevenson University in 2013, Brittany pursued her passion for esthetics by enrolling in the Baltimore School of Massage. Inspired by her love for natural and organic skincare, she then launched Monee’ Cosmetics, a brand that caters to multicultural women. However, as a new beauty entrepreneur, Brittany faced challenges in finding a space for her indie brand to thrive in a market dominated by big names.
In her quest to carve a niche in the beauty industry, Brittany founded Project Beauty Expo (PBE) in 2016. PBE serves as a supportive network for women of color who share an interest in natural beauty, wellness, and healthy living. Brittany’s vision for PBE is to create a platform that empowers and uplifts women of color, providing them with the resources and opportunities needed to succeed in the beauty industry. Through PBE, Brittany has been able to create an inclusive space where multicultural women-owned beauty brands can flourish and thrive. Together with her passion for inclusivity and her dedication to supporting women of color, Brittany is making a positive impact in the beauty industry.
